- MISTAKES (AND LEARNING FROM THEM)
Not a lot things in life are guaraunteed but one thing is for absolute certain. Shit happens and you are going to make mistakes.
It’s part of the human journey and that’s how we learn.
I have gotten to a point in my life where I’ve learned to embrace my mistake and I look forward to “failing” because I don’t look at it that way. All my mistakes do is show me how to adjust my attitude, my approach or my belief system and try again. I’m grateful for the immense amount of growth, experience and wisdom that I’ve acquired learning from my ‘mistakes’.
- YOU WOKE UP
I’m sure you hear this one a lot and I think it’s the one that we take for granted the most. You are alive. The chance of you being alive, of your mother meeting your father, them conceiving at the exact moment that they did all led up to the creation of you.

We have to get out of our phones more, disconnect with television and appreciate what we have. Simply smiling after waking up each morning can begin a practice to help you stay in a place of gratitude.
And just like building a muscle in the gym… it become easier and you get stronger.
No matter how cheesy or corny the thing is that makes you laugh, get more of it.

- GOOD HEALTH
Not all of us have this. I’m aware of that.
Because I’m aware of that it makes me ever so grateful for being one of the lucky ones. Taking advantage of being able to walk, run, exercise and just being active in general.
The ability to learn and take care of myself. The ability to sit here and write this post out for you guys. Knowing that good health isn’t always guaranteed and to cease any and every moment while I can.
It’s a short list but it’s a quality one and meant to help give you a boost on the start of your journey to a more positive lifestyle. Some moments will be harder than others but those are the moments where reflecting back on this list is going to really mold those habits and process of thinking.
You got this.
