This book was one of those reads that had my mouth agape the entire time. I demolished it in about a day thanks to recorded narrating and it's definitely a book I need to read a couple times again because there's that much information, valuable information.
The Game of Life & How to Play It by Florence Scovel Shinn touches on a lot of life questions that we all find ourselves asking like, the power of words, are we following are true calling, and the law forgiveness. My favorite part of the book is "The Law of Use" and how Shinn explains that a gift is a better investment than a savings account. "Many people are in ignorance of the fact that gifts and things are investments, and that hoarding and saving invariably lead to loss." That portion of the book really resonated with me as finances are a constant thought not only in my head but I'm more than certain it's constantly in the minds of others.
